I mean, just a few years ago, people had been in secure, market-oriented jobs that they doted over and were praised for, but look at things right now? The hospitality sector is closing down, the airlines are winding up and many people are out in the streets. For many, the time and momentary investments in the form of years of work, shares, and opportunities invested in might never be used or viewed in the same way again. I'm sure that on December 31, 2019, when we made the new year resolutions, some of us said that the wanted jobs, others wanted to get married, others wanted new cars, others wanted more friends, and so on. None of us envisioned the sh*t storm that the year turned out to be. None of us expected that all our hopes and expectations would be ground to a halt, but since it already happened, it is time to look back and take stock of the past few months.
